New Partnership with Cerebral Palsy Sport
As part our aims to promote the importance of learning to swim to people of all ages and abilities, STA is delighted to announce a new partnership with Cerebral Palsy Sport (CP Sport)—the country’s leading national disability sports charity supporting people with cerebral palsy to reach their sporting potential.
Over the coming months STA and CP Sport will share expertise and knowledge, and will work together to create more opportunities in disability swimming for learners with cerebral palsy.
CP Sport will also support STA in promoting the importance of learning to swim as a key life skill; Jen Basford, the National Sports Development Officer at CP Sport, said: I have seen first-hand the brilliant work STA do and how much of a positive impact they have in swimming. Their message for saving lives through learning to swim to people of all abilities is extremely important, and we are looking forward to moving forward and building this partnership.
Leanne Dougliss, Head of Sales at STA, said: We are extremely proud of our partnership with CP Sport. As charities with common objectives, we are looking forward to sharing knowledge and mutually promoting the importance of learning to swim. We will also be supporting and highlighting the incredible opportunities CP Sport provides to youngsters through their swimming programmes such as development galas, Nationals and SwimStarts.
Further news on the projects STA is working on with CP Sport will be announced later on in the year.
