After many months of development and testing with leading leisure operators, STA has launched STA Online, its new Online Registration System for approved Swimming Teaching, Lifesaving, First Aid and Pool Plant course organisers.

Theo Millward, STA’s Operations Director confirmed that STA Online is the most advanced system of its type in the leisure industry and will serve to reduce costs and streamline all aspects of running a course from registration right through to digital certification.

He said: “Our course organisers can now benefit from registering courses 24/7 and having the data checked and validated immediately. The new system will also reduce registration and manual costs, eliminate postage and provide a secure paperless record keeping facility.”

“Plus it dynamically links with STA’s database and new website course search map facility,” added Theo. “When a course organiser registers a new course, the details will automatically be added to our database and displayed on STA’s website giving candidates looking for courses real time information.”

STA Online also facilitates and electronically processes all candidate communications, from the initial invite, course timetables and material distribution, to results and digital certificates, All managed and securely controlled by the course organiser. It also contains a significant library of downloadable resources.

Theo adds: “STA Online offers an alternative to the traditional paper-based registration, and the feedback we have received already from course organisers is that it is going to transform how they run courses in the future and reduce costs.”
