STA Team Up with Eurocamp to Offer Free Baby & Children Swimming Sessions
Leading camping holiday operator Eurocamp has teamed up with STA once again to offer children and babies free swimming lessons at some of its French resorts this year.
STA, the world’s largest swim teaching organisation, has trained 15 swim teachers, all of whom will work at the holiday group’s popular Learn to Swim Clubs, where free swimming lessons will be offered to youngsters aged one to five at 14 of its parks in Brittany, Vendée, Loire, Paris, Dordogne, Riviera, and Languedoc.
Eurocamp offers its young holiday guests two different courses, which both follow STA’s International Learn to Swim Programme (ILSP). They are STA’s STARFISH programme for babies and toddlers up to the age of two, and the STAnley learn to swim programme for children aged two to five.
Chris Hilton, Head of Brand at Eurocamp, said: “We’ve been working with STA to successfully deliver our on-parc swimming lessons for a number of years now and, as the world’s largest independent swimming teaching and lifesaving organisation, not to mention delivering the highest quality training, the organisation’s credentials speak for themselves.”
“The free sessions are incredibly popular with families – as well as the health benefits and meeting other children, they also promote the importance of water safety, while having lots of fun and creating happy holiday memories, too!”
Zoe Cooper, STA’s Business Development Manager, said: “We’re delighted to team up with Eurocamp for another year and train their teachers and couriers.
Encouraging children to learn to swim from a young age is always a good idea, so to be able to have the chance to learn for free with qualified STA instructors while on holiday, is brilliant.”
