STA is proud to be supporting Oldham Community Leisure’s 2016 Milltown Sprint Triathlon. This forms part of The Milltown Race Series, which was formulated to provide people living and working in Oldham the opportunity to take part in a large scale and enjoyable event that not only helps to improve health and fitness across the borough, but also build a sense of community and fun within the locality.

For a second year running, the Milltown Sprint Triathlon will be held on Sunday 24th April and STA has agreed to provide 300 swim caps for the participants. This year, the event is also included within the Triathlon England’s North West Senior Series, with participants travelling far and wide to participate – it is expected to be a sell-out!

The event, hosted in the Saddleworth area will see participants carry out a 400 metre swim at Saddleworth Pool & Leisure Centre, a 20k bike ride and a 5k run.

STA has recently signed a new three-year partnership with Oldham Community Leisure, which will see STA’s lifesaving and first aid qualifications utilised across the borough’s leisure centres.
