STA Recognised for a Trio of Finalist Awards by ukactive
STA and its awarding organisation, Safety Training Awards, are thrilled to have been named as ukactive 2019 Awards Finalists across three categories; for Supplier of the Year, Activation of the Year and Marketing Campaign for the Year.
ukactive’s annual awards are the most prestigious within the physical activity sector; they recognise facilities, suppliers, operators, educational institutes, health practitioners and large corporations that have demonstrated exceptional standards in driving forward the physical activity agenda.
Zoe Cooper, STA’s Sales and Marketing Director, said: As a team, we are absolutely thrilled to be recognised by ukactive across three award categories this year. We all work diligently to supply and deliver the highest standards of swimming teaching, lifesaving, first aid and pool plant training, so for us to be recognised by ukactive, and to be chosen as a finalist in the Supplier of the Year awards category for a second year in a row, is a real honour.
We are also delighted that our Open Water Swimming Coaching qualification has been chosen for the Activation of the Year awards category. This is in recognition of Safety Training Awards collaborating with experts from the world of open water swimming, to create a first-of-its-kind all-encompassing qualification,
added Zoe.
The third awards category is Marketing Campaign of the Year; this is a special one for the team because it recognises our efforts in raising awareness about the importance of water safety and learning to swim. For the first time in 2018, through our annual ‘Learn to Swim Week’ campaign we went global and recorded the biggest increase in swim school participation across 25 countries, from as far as South Africa, Vietnam and the Ukraine taking part—an achievement we are all very proud of,
confirmed Zoe.
ukactive will announce all the winners at a glittering awards ceremony during Active Uprising, which is being held in Manchester on 6th June.
