How much does it cost to become a Swim Star?
The cost to become a Swim Star is £85 to be renewed every two years.
How long does it take to complete STAmark and become a Swim Star?
The time it takes to complete the business audit checklist varies depending on how many policies you have already in place. For swim schools that have been up and running for some time, they often find they can complete the self-assessment quite swiftly. For those swim schools who are starting out or relatively new to the industry it may take them a little longer.
Do I need to submit my policies and procedures to STA to complete STAmark?
Whilst you are not required to submit your policies to us, we trust that you have implemented these policies within your swim school and have these on file. These policies and procedures set the standard for your business – we stress that these are imperative to have in place.
Do I have to complete my STAmark within a set time of purchasing?
Take the pressure off – we’re flexible and understand for some swim schools, it may take a while to finalise your documentation. Complete STAmark in your own time and ensure your policies and procedures are up to date. We’ll activate your status on the day of completion so you can make the most of your new stamp of approval.
How do I gain my Swim Star discounts and benefits?
Your discounts and benefits will be activated within two working days of completion of your STAmark.
Do I need to renew my Swim Star accreditation?
Yes, to continue receiving your Swim Star benefits you will need to renew your STAmark every two years. The STAmark is valid for two years from the point of completion.
Will I be notified of when my status needs renewing?
Yes, a member of the STA team will contact you 3 months in advance on your renewal date.
